ROBO RALLY :
materials like cardboard boxes and bottle cap wheels with a little help from electric
motors. Maneuver them in a maze with competitors trying to outwit you!
EVENT DESCRIPTION:
- The event is open to students of both 2nd and 3rd years.
- The participating team has to present a robot that is manually controlled by the participants and maneuver the bot in a maze and reach the final destination as quick as possible.
- Teams are allowed to have a trial round.
- The prelims will be conducted by 1 on 1 knock out races
- Tracks will be common for all participants.
- The team that finishes the track first will be the winner.
- For the final race, two sets of matches will be held and in case of tie, third race will be held.
- If the bot gets out of the track, penalty of 5 seconds will be given.
- Width of the track is 35cm.
ENTRY FEE Rs.50 WILL BE COLLECTED ON SPOT
1. A team can consist of a maximum of three members.
2. The teams can use a maximum power source of 12V.
3. Readymade kits are not allowed.
4. No use of IC Engines
5. Use of wire as a mechanical control (dragging, leverage) is strictly prohibited.
6. Teams are not allowed to replace parts during the race. However, they are allowed to replace defective sensors, with a penalty.
7. Change of batteries is allowed, but game has to be restarted in that case.
8. The bot must be fully automated; manual interruption during the course will be treated as termination of the trial.
